Recipe Name – Chinese Bhel - यिपी नूडल्स से बनाये सबसे आसान चाइनीस भेल की रेसिपी
Bhelpuri is a savory snack from Indian sub-continent and enjoyed as a chaat. Chinese bhel is a fusion between indian bhel and Chinese noodles/sauces. This fusion fast food is very famous in Mumbai and loved by all ages. In this recipe, I will teach you the easiest way to make Chinese bhel using yippee noodles. So let’s get started.
What all do we need?
- 2 packet Yippee noodles
- 20 gm green capsicum
- 20 gm yellow bell pepper
- 20 gm red bell pepper
- 20 gm carrot
- 20 gm finely chopped cabbage
- 20 gm finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 2 tablespoon red chili sauce
- 2 tablespoon schezwan chutney
- 2 tablespoon green chili sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- salt to taste
Method –
- Chop bell peppers and carrot in small bite size pieces. And finely chopped cabbage and onion.
- Cook yippee noodles in 3-4 cups of boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Strain and wash with cold water, keep aside for draining excess water and let them cool down.
- For blanching bell peppers and carrots, boil 4 cups of water and cook bell pepper and carrots for 2-3 minutes. Strain and wash with cold water. Keep them aside for excess water to drain.
- Time for frying the cooked noodles. Take good amount of oil in the cooking pan and let it be nicely hot. Add noodles in the hot oil and fry on both sides till golden brown. Take out the noodles on paper towel.
- With light hands crumble the noodles. Do not crumble too much.
- Mix all sauces in a bowl. Check for salt, add little bit if needed. You can also add black pepper powder for extra heat.
- Take a bowl, add mixed sauce, add blanched veggies, cabbage and onion, add fried noodles and mix everything really well.
- Serve immediately after mixing everything else noodles will become soggy.
- Tip : Prepare everything in advance like fry the noodles, blanch the veggies, mix all sauces together but mix all things together only when you are about to serve Chinese bhel. This will not only make your service quick but will also ensure crispy Chinese bhel.
